A local hotel located in Kowloon with 120 rooms, 25 sq. m on average. 

Step 1, setting up KPIs 

KPI A1.1 The types of emissions and respective emissions data 

- Reduce 20% of overall carbon emissions by reducing the water consumption(reduce by 40%) and electricity usage (reduced by 30%) 

 

KPI A2.1 Direct and/or indirect energy consumption by type (e.g. electricity, gas or oil) in total (kWh in '000s) and intensity (e.g. per unit of production volume, per facility). 

- Reduce 30% of the in-room electricity consumption by implementing GreenHub, encouraging customers to change their behavior to reduce the electricity consumption, particularly in air-conditioning/heater and lighting systems. 

 

KPI A2.3 Description of energy use efficiency target(s) set and steps taken to achieve them. 

- In room consumption, encourage the customer to follow sustainable hospitality habit by following the suggestions from GreenHub 

- Public facilities, more accurate predictions of energy usage, electricity consumption for heating up water for facilities such as swimming pools, spa
