MTR Crowd Control System
Problem Statement: MTR Stations suffer from overcrowding at specific entrances and carriage doors during peak hours and special days at subway stations, resulting in an uneven number of people in the carriages, which impacts overall user experience.
Our Aim
Our product focuses on developing crowd control strategies to optimize passenger flow at MTR stations. The goal is to enhance the overall travel experience for commuters by:
1. Minimizing Congestion: Implementing intelligent flow management systems to reduce bottlenecks and overcrowding within the station premises.
2. Improving Comfort: Ensuring passengers can traverse the station with ease and comfort, without feeling overwhelmed by dense crowds.
3. Increasing Efficiency: Optimizing the transportation network's performance by streamlining passenger movement, leading to more efficient utilization of the MTR system.
By addressing these key areas, our solution will not only elevate the user experience but also benefit the MTR cooperation through improved operational efficiency and customer satisfaction."
